We have hit an epic milestone in our preparations for England: we are only 100 days away. We’ve been counting down for something ridiculous like 270, but there is just something about knowing that in exactly 100 days we will actually be really and truly in England that is making my heart incredibly happy today.
Edit: At about 8:00 tonight, whilst I was in the middle of singing about large and terrible frogs and Abby was doing something girly with shoes at Charlotte Russe, we got are arrival info and guide to Edge Hill. Once again, freakishly amazing coincidence that leads me to believe this year will be an excellent one.
I made Abby an epic 100 days cake, so that was quite exciting, as well. It was a globe. I should totally be on Ace of Cakes. For shiz.
Travel plan update:
I recently purchased the biggest duffel bag I have ever seen in my life. This is because apparently Brittish Airways has a one bag rule for the lowly peons who fly *gasp* traveler’s class (read: if the airplane was a boat and we hit an iceberg, we’d be the ones they’d lock the gates on.) So hopefully I will be able to fit most everything into that and a carry on.
If not, I am thinking that it is still worth it to pay a $60 oversize/extra luggage fee rather than the rediculous like, $200 bucks the post office wants to ship 15 pounds of clothes overseas.
